“a stroll downtown”
Reviewed June 12, 2012

I liked to walk down town at night for some ice-cream. It is still very warm. Unfortunately there are many closed stores. sign of the economy? I enjoyed myself anyway.

Had a wonderful hike - almost stepped on a rattler, so watch out. A magical place.

“Gorgeous--go early in the am in May”
Reviewed May 7, 2012

Entrance fee was $9 per person; we parked at the Palm Canyon parking area and in the trading post they recommended a loop hike that was about 3 miles long--one mile out along a river in shaded areas with Palm trees, and about two miles back over higher elevation in more exposed desert. It was beautiful and quite a contrast. It was very hot the second half of the hike, but we did get a breeze on occasion. Be sure you have water, comfortable shoes and don't forget your camera!
