I just came back from a great (and extended!) weekend at Casa Ocotillo in Palm Springs. There is no need to buy a home in the desert, when you have access to Casa Ocotillo. I spent 4 days pampered in the lap of luxury. The rooms are decorated with amazing artwork. I slept amidst maximum thread count cotton sheets on the softest of bed comforters. The views from the pool are amazing..unobstructed and dramatic. As a guest, you have access to a kitchenette that offers water, juices, fruits, yogurts. bagels, muffins, and amazing coffee. The property is immaculate and very well maintained, and dog friendly. There are shaded dog runs so that your pet can be outside and comfortable. In addition, some of the rooms have gated yards where your pet can wander amongst the many fruit trees. This a place to relax and not be bothered by the sexual tension so prominant at many other vacation properties. The owners, Vic and Brian, are seasoned hospitality managers, and provide for anything you may need, from meal suggestions to entertainment options.
If Casa Ocotillo "is what it is", then it redefines the term "paradise."
