I have seen this restaurant several times but have never eaten in it until last week!! I was missing an excellent restaurant with a unique and changing menu. We went there on a Tuesday evening, to find it very busy, so we decided to sit in the lounge, which was quite busy as well. The menu has a bit of everything, although not over-bearing. The server was prompt, taking our drink order and/or asking if we we had any questions. The wine list is very extensive, and had most, if not all, by the glass. I was most impressed with the varied salads that were available, from a different twist on the "house" salad, to a wonderful beet and cherry tomato salad with goat cheese and dates, it was excellent. I also had the lamb shank with a reduction dressing it, not heavy at all, which came on top of a "bed" of polenta. My friend had the "house" salad, which had a selection of fresh lettuce(s) and the "bar-size" short ribs with fried fingerling potatoes (there is a bar menu, which essentially has smaller servings of the main menu and some typical bar fare . It was an adequate size with the salad being quite large, so the correct amount of food if you are not overly hungry. It is a locally owned joint, the staff well trained, professional and friendly. I will certainly return.
