It was an amazing Memorial Day fiesta! Excellent staff and beautiful, vibrant, positive visitors happy to meet new people. The dance club was amazing & the live band near the pool kept the ambiance chill:) The day spa was also a beautiful & relaxing experience!

Stayed here for mothers day weekend. Beautiful hotel that offers Platinum members use of the spa facilities free of charge. We did go to other larger pool where there was a live band and lots of security however if your a platinum member you can use the much quieter pool where "Tim" the pool guy made sure we always had fresh water, towels and moved our umbrella whenever asked. After sitting by the pool all day we went back into spa area and sat in the fabulous steam rooms, sauna and hot tub. Then we showered in showers that had so many wonderful extras that you spent an extra 20 minutes in there:) Then they have everything you need to get ready to go right out to dinner from there. Hair dryers etc. Fabulous idea for a girls weekend! I highly suggest that even if you have to pay to sit by spa pool that its worth it..I had no idea this hotel was going to be so wonderful!

This is not a place i would bring my family or attend a conference. The place is packed with young adults celebrating bachelor and bachelorette parties. there were a smattering of adult females spending a "girls night out" weekend at the resort. Because the resort caters to this type of clientele, the rules are somewhat restrictive. THey limit access to various parts of the resort based upon your room key. "resort access" has limits.

On saturday, the pool was packed with scantily clad young adults drinking heavily. There was a loud rock band playing rock oldies. There was a taco bar and a tequila shots bar. by noon, there wasn't an available place to sit near the pool.

Both nights (Friday and saturday) the noise from the main lobby bar was audible from our room. we left the air conditioner fan on to help drown out the noise. also, both nights, there were yelps an screams from the various bachelorette parties that were going on.

The spa, on the other hand, was very nice. there is men's and women locker room. on the mens side there is a very nice hot area with separate wet and dry hot rooms and a third aroma therapy steam room. the showers are amazing with multiple water jets. very soothing and relaxing. the pool area is nice and quite with service from the oasis bistro. the spa service is exceptional. they are available to assist you with any issues you may have. the only slightly annoying thing was that you could hear the very loud band at the main pool.

also, no internet wifi access anywhere in the hotel.

so, if you are planning anything other than a pre-wedding event, don't stay here!

Room Tip: get a room on the far north end of the property.

We stayed here for three nights for the Coachella music festival. The hotel was great, loved being able to relax by the pool in a variety of different seating areas depending on your mood. There was also a live band by the pool on one day which was a nice surprise! The breakfast and brunch buffets were vast but not cheap. The service was friendly and professional but be prepared to wait for a seat at peak times. The room was great with a view over the surrounding landscape. The atrium in the hotel is vast and something you won't find in many places! Had 3 good nights of sleep and would come here again. Thanks Marriott!

My friends and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend and we were a large group of 20. The hotel was beautiful, but the food was terrible - still we were having fun, until we woke up with bites - almost all of us - 10 different rooms - it was bed bugs. We actually saw them on the mattress and it was pretty stressful. They only compensated half of the group who actually had them in their rooms - the rest of us with bites were told we didn't have them - not true - we all had bites. Just beware if you go to stay at this lovely hotel - you don't want to bring anything home with you.

This place is an absolute joke! We went out there for a bachelor party and were welcomed with open arms and planned everything out with the hotel management. We were watched by security for any little incident in the hotel lobby and it was carried over to their club Costa's. We paid for bottle serive ($350) and were dancing on the platform that was located just in front of where our table was. One person was ripped down by a Somoan bouncer by his jeans telling him that only women were allowed to dance up there, who the "F" did he think he was and he'll kick him out of there so fast. The next guy went up there about 20 minutes later and the Somoan bouncer ripped him down by his neck and proceeded to kick us out. After this, the management came up to our rooms and kicked us out of the hotel, including people in other rooms who were just sleeping!!!! We called the police and they didn't believe a word from us as the bouncers started saying we were using racial slurs and pushed a bouncer. If you saw our group, you would know this is not possible. That night, we weren't the only group kicked out of the hotel. We ran into a group of 9 47-50 year old women who we became friends with at the pool. They got kicked out of the hotel for no reason and randomly saw them at the hotel down the street the next morning. After going to the Riviera hotel the next day which was awesome, people overheard our conversation and they said the hotel security is rediculous there and super into having all the power. All in all, DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU EXPECT TO HAVE ANY FUN AS A BACHELOR PARTY!!!!!

I've attended conferences and meetings at this property several times, but not in the past 6 years. The lobby was recently remodelled; great place; sushi served in the lobby bar; great gathering areas in the lobby. My experience with the hotel was positive. There's a lot of walking involved in getting from one end to the other, but I enjoyed that, too, and walked outside whenever possible to enjoy the fabulous climate and surroundings. I recommend the hotel for meetings and conferences. Bring family with you so they can enjoy the pool and other facilities. I had a spa treatment while I was there. The spa is really great!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool or golf course view.
