“Great Ambiance, Food and Cocktails!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2013

This restaurant came highly recommended from a friend, so we set a reservation a few days prior with very limited availability. We got to the restaurant about 15 minutes before our reservation and ordered some drinks in the bar. They have a great variety of alcohol, I enjoyed some Templeton Rye. Inside the restaurant/bar, it has a beautiful ambiance and limited seating. They tend to seat most of the guests outside which has a good atmosphere and luckily we had the perfect weather.

Now, on to the food. We started by splitting the Yellowtail Sashimi Jalapeno Yuzu starter which was delicious. I love sushi and it was good quality and taste. For the main course, I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass Misoyaki which had to be the best sea bass I've ever had.

“Interesting”

Not a cookie cutter restaurant. We had the sushi and it was great. The facilities are beautiful like a loft and art gallery combined. It has beautiful outdoor seating and the night we were there it had live music.

“A new find in Palm Desert”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

We had dinner at Mitch's and all I can say is EXCELLENT. The ambiance is great with a lot of outside seating. As starters the soups were both excellent, the dover sole was wonderful, my Scottish Salmon was done to perfection, and the shrimlp and scallop combination was a hit. I had an outstanding bread pudding for dessert. It was one of the best bread puddings I have ever had. It is not what you expect in bread pudding but for me it was a WOW! We will be back again.

“A perfect meal!”

If you want Fab food and Excellent service at a great price... Mitch's is the place to dine in the desert! The staff is great, the wine list has many of my favorites, the 808 sushi roll is a favorite and you have to have the Tempera Bananas for dessert. Mitch is Great, he works the floor and so accommodating!

“A delicious lunch, on the garden patio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

After perusing the jewelry, art, and clothing at Denise Roberge (just across from the restaurant), we had a delicious lunch at Mitch's. We had: Crispy Chicken Livers on spinach & Belgian endive salad (dressed with a vinaigtette & crumbled blue cheese dressing), Shrimp & Lobster salad (served in a flaky/crispy tostada shell), and roasted Salmon. All of the entrees were delicious. Service was very attentive. The garden setting is serene, and the live music (a guitarist) the perfect extra touch.
