My friend and I walked this trail yesterday. If you start the loop on the right side, its not too bad going up although it is a steady incline from about halfway up to the top. The trail is wide in some places and as it winds through the hills you get some fantastic views. Once you reach the summit and start back down, the trail gets vary narrow and steep (the left side). We were scrambling in a couple of places. For those that are very fit, and talking to other hikers that were in that category, they like starting the trail from the left. They would rather take the steep incline up for a better workout and then have a more gentle decline on the way back down (the right side). It was a good workout for us. The right side was easy-ish with the left side more in the moderate category. But I would do it again.
