We were not expecting much from the hotel after reviews but our stay was actually quite nice thanks to recent room renovations. The made to order breakfast was surprising good. The customer service was quite good as well -friendly staff.

My husband wanted to play tennis but the court were not as kept up as we expected them to be.

Overall a good hotel.

Best Western Palm Desert Resort is my favorite place when I'm in the Palm Springs
area. I've stayed there so many times while visiting my mother in La Quinta.

When my cousin flew in from New Jersey about 7 years ago we were not very happy
to learn that the Holiday Inn had lost our reservations. There was no room for
us.

We had taken my mother to dinner and it was already dark. After our drive from
San Diego we were both tired. We stood near the car trying to decide what to do.
There was the Best Western right next door! Within minutes the friendly staff gave us
keys to a clean and attractive room. We've stayed there every year since.

I've told many friends and family about Best Western Palm Desert Resort. Now
they all make reservations there when they're in the area. We all enjoy the breakfast
and the rooms are always clean.

Last year we celebrated Mom's 85th birthday. All of us got rooms there. The staff was so
helpful and generous. They let us use the breakfast room for her birthday party! They even
provided a large container of ice for our beverages. We were quite a large group. Some had
flown in from back east; a few had driven up to 14 hours to get there.

We stayed around the pool most of the day hugging, laughing, reminiscing and watching
the little cousins getting to know one another and playing in the water.

What a beautiful setting for that pool! The landscaping is so lovely, complete with
singing birds. Whoever designed the facility did an outstanding job. We all felt like we
were on vacation.

It was the best reunion and family celebration we've ever had.

Last weekend my sister, her son, my husband, our grandson and I reserved rooms
at the Resort. We were celebrating Mom's 86th birthday. As usual we had a great time.

A friend and I were in Palm Desert to see a concert and wanted a hotel that was convenient to the venue (McCallum Theater), shopping (El Paseo) and moderately priced. We wouldn’t have the opportunity to use any fancy spa facilities in 1 night, so we chose the Best Western that had an AAA rate of $171 including taxes (in March). Though we didn't try them out, the hotel did have an exercise room, tennis courts, a hot tub and pool and there was a computer available in the lobby.

The hotel was adequate. The best features were that our room was quiet even though it faced out on Highway 111, was decent sized, and included a desk and refrigerator. The room seemed clean, but the elevator smelled of mold and looked quite tacky. Worst feature was the bathroom which left a bit to be desired with rough towels, a weak shower, and a (single) florescent light that flickered especially when using the hair dryer. Maintenance “fixed” the light but it didn’t stay fixed. Bathroom layout itself was fine.

There are plenty of dining venues nearby. Do not ask the (young and not too discerning) desk clerk for a recommendation. A fair hot breakfast was included that included eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, mini-danishes and mini-bagels, toast, juice and a banana.

My husband and I and our 2 young children travelled to Palm Desert for a relaxing, golf getaway. The Best Westen in Palm Desert was a lovely, affordable hotel with all the ammenities we were looking for. We had a great room with 2 queen beds overlooking the quiet, private pool area. The room was a great size, VERY clean and equipped with a mini fridge, which is great when you are travelling with preschoolers. Aldo at the front desk was very friendly and was happy to answer our questions about the area, and places to go that were kid friendly. The hotel has free Wi Fi....super fast, great connection, and a computer and printer available in the lobby available 24/7. The pool is very private and warm. Great for relaxing after a day on the course! One of the best services at the hotel was the made to order breakfast. Chef Mario made us wonderful meals everyday and went above and beyond for the kids, making them tiny pancakes. (which they loved!) The fitness room had a newer treadmill and was great for getting in a few workouts while on vacation. The hotel is in a good location, close to shopping and walking distance to a supermarket and CVS. The only complaint I have is that there were not microwaves in the rooms, but otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. We look forward to going back again next year.

Love the hot breakfast they offer in the morning, much better than the continental breakfast that most places offer. Great place to stay at a great rate. Definitely would come back to stay again!

We stayed at this hotel when we visited some friends and were blown away by the quality we experienced! This hotel is in a wonderful location, with ease of access.

The staff have got to be the best I've ever come across at this level of hotel. They were incredibly courtesy, responsive and helpful. While we were dining the Manager introduced himself to us to ensure we were happy and we had a wonderful conversation!

The breakfast here is absolutely a hidden gem! We left with our minds impressed, our bellies stufed and our face with smiles!

This hotel will now be our Palm Springs home!

This is the type of hotel you stay at when you don't want to spend too much money but you also don't want to stay in a dump. This hotel was the best value on the Palm Desert, La Quinta side of town. There are probably better deals in Palm Springs but thats a long drive down Hwy 111. The room was comfortable enough and provided a small fridge which is always a plus for families. The only issues we had with the room were (1) found a half full baby's sippy cup on the floor that should have been cleaned up by the maid service. (2) the fiberglass bathtub had a flimsy bottom... seemed old. (3) the sliding glass window took all my might to open and close. They need to maintain the rooms better. Other than that, the room was fine for the money. The hotel is a little old and it shows it but again, thats why you get the better pricing. The biggest surprise was the free made-to-order breakfast. They had a friendly staff working the breakfast grill making eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes. I'm so used to getting the typical packaged muffins and luke warm orange juice that this was a wonderful treat. Also the room came with free Wi-Fi which worked and was fast. So overall, we were happy and would return here again.
