we own a week at shadow Ridge for about 8 years now. We been coming here almost every year. Our stay this year was for a week from March 17 - 24, 2012. We stayed in building 1000. unit 1049. this is one of the updated units with all new "everything". as alway's it was very nice. we enjoyed our stay at this great resort. played golf, hiked, swim, ate out alot and BBQ one night. We look forward to our return. We love Marroitt Vacation Club !!

Room Tip: the Golf is great !!

We went for the Indian Wells tennis tournament, but spent a few extra days. A few things stand out with regard to this hotel....
1) Wonderful landscaping and grounds - everything is clean and well-kept - great for taking walks (didn't golf or play tennis, so we can't speak to those amenities, although the golf course looked very nice, as did the tennis courts).
2) Staff is helpful. We locked our access card in our room, and within 5 minutes someone was at our door, and let us in. The concierge made us aware of many FREE attractions, and places to go, and see.
3) Also the hotel is in a great location - not too far from anything.
Would definitely go back - in fact, can't wait....

Nice resort about 15 minutes from the tennis tournament. Excellent facilities, golf, pool, etc. We stayed in a Junior Suite which could have just as easily been called a hotel room. Larger units offer more space then ours which was the smallest of the options. Tight for the four of us. Nice complex though, with lots to keep the kids busy.

Room Tip: Try and get a unit along the golf course to watch the golfers play through while you enjoy your &quo...

My wife and I stayed here during the busy Paribas Tennis Tournament. Hotel is in a great location and is a well kept facility. The grounds are immaculate. We had a very nice one bedroom unit with a kitchen. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom, and had 3 adults, 4 teen girls. We had plenty of space and had a wonderful time! The front desk staff were very helpful, and even sent a Birthday gift to the room for my daughter. The grounds are perfect! The average age was a bit older, but we enjoyed the quiet pace. Grocery stores are very close, a Bristol Farms, Albertson's, 99 cents store and Costco are all within a mile. We wished we were staying longer! Will definitely plan another trip!

I had to find another hotel due to a conference overbooking. I am glad I did. The suites were very nice and roomy. It was clean and the staff was good. Unfortunately, I did not get to experience the activities on property as I was busy. I would go back with family.

We have returned to Shadow Ridge for the 3rd time in 6 years. We love it although it was unusually cool and was actually warmer in North Carolina than Palm Desert. The golf course is challenging, but beautiful. This is a resort, not a hotel so there is no maid sevice unless you pay extra for it. We shopped for easy meals at Trader Joe's which is not far away and cooked in most nights including using the grills outside. We were in building 2000 which was perfectly located and away from the pools which we did not use. Families with children might ask for units closer to the pools. These are 2 bedroom/lock-off condos and we took both parts and brought firends. You can get the main unit with a full kitchen or rent the cheaper lock-off with a microwave, coffee pot, but little else. Both have balconies. Marriott check-in was smooth, we got the unit area we requested and it was spotlessly clean when we checked in.

Room Tip: Rooms facing away from the afternoon sun are our choice b/c the afternoon sun sets right in your fac...
