“Well manicured course.”
Reviewed November 21, 2013

We have played this course twice during our week long visit to Palm Springs. It has a nice variety of holes and challenges through the course. The staff was helpful and friendly. The selection of lengths from the tee provides sufficient for every level of golfing ability. Once out on the course you do not return to the clubhouse, but the cart is around frequently enough to provide refreshment through the round. We enjoyed the other twosome we were paired with for the round. The food at the Grill is good - providing a great 19th hole.

“fun to play”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

Second time playing Shadow Ridge, the course was again in great condition. We find the course set up nice for both of us, gold & white tees. Nice looking course, at times hard to believe you are in a city. This time they were very busy, and the staff were not as friendly as the first time. The halfway grill was closed. We will go back next time in the area as it is fun to play.

“Lush and Challenging!”
Reviewed November 7, 2013

This club had JUST re-opened and the fairways and greens were impeccably manicured. Bunkers before greens had me planing my game to ensure I wasn't grabbing my sand wedge. Played another course while down in Palm Springs, however this one was by far the best. Staff friendly and accommodating.

“Great Taste”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

The food was very good at the Grill. However they have a very limited menu now. I thought the best thing on their last menu was the meatloaf but they took it off the menu. I had the special the other night that was a grilled salmon with a lemon creme sauce over the top. The grilled vegetables they served alongside were wonderful. They were just crisp tender and had a lovely flavor with some fresh herbs. My husband had the pork chop and thought it also had wonderful flavor.

“A Little Bit of Faldo in the Desert”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

This is a great track in Palm Desert. The course is fun and challenging (Nick really added a lot of bunkers for you to avoid and their is enough water to catch that errant shot). The scenic vistas are beautiful, the course is kept in immaculate shape by a team of talented green keepers (unusual for a resort course where golfers of varied talents play), and the Pro Shop staff and Faldo instructors are friendly, helpful and talented. Recommend this course to anyone of any talent to have a fun and challenging round.
