“Great golf”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2011

We booked a weeks pass to play on Shadow Ridge which is a hard course but fair. Each time we turned up to play our buggy was ready with our names on and we played as a two ball for the majority of the week. I thought the course was tough with plenty of bunkers and it played quite long. It is an exacting course and you need to know your distances.

“Excellent Pristine Course”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 10, 2011

Shadow Ridge is an excellent course and one of the best in Palm Desert. The course is in terrific shape and the fairways have a good width to them for those of you with a slice like me. Enjoy your round!

“Very Good course...top 3 in Palm Desert/Palm Springs”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 17, 2011

I played with a couple of locals and found this to be a very good golf course. It was both challenging and very fair without any guessing or blind tee shots. What you see is what you get. Greens were also challenging but I dont recall once being completely surprised by a putt or break. Conditions throughout was very good and was very impressed with the condition of the golf course I played the early am rate of $120 which I found to be fair with a daytime rate of $165 appearing over priced to me. The staff in the proshop and starters were excellent and very polite, friendly and informative.

I did a private lesson with the Faldo Institute and AJ was very good and found it to be very informative and helpful. A few awkward moments with the adminstrator of the program who I wouldnt describe as a "amabassador" of customer service at the resort....almost like your lucky to be allowed to attend one of their programs??? Made to feel that because she runs the academy then I guess its like you work for her??? Really weird and she needs a seminar in customer service....
