Description: At GRILL-A-BURGER, Palm Desert, we have a passion for hamburgers. We make our trendsetting burgers the old-fashioned way using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. Our hand crafted, grilled-to-order, moist and juicy patties are made daily from fresh (never frozen) 100% all-natural USDA Inspected Choice Beef, free of artificial hormones, antibiotics, and other things that don't belong in hamburgers. And we have nice buns, too! They are freshly baked daily at a local bakery. Buns are slightly toasted and garnished with garden crisp lettuce, hand-sliced red onion, vine-ripened tomato and sliced kosher pickles. Our homemade French fries are never frozen and are only made with fresh Idaho Russet potatoes that are hand cut, double-fried and lightly salted without any processing steps in between. And we change our zero trans fat oil every day! Clean oil = crisp, great-tasting fries! Our authentic soda fountain milkshakes and malts are hand-dipped, hand spun and made with premium vanilla bean ice cream, whole milk and natural flavorings. All served in a place that considers our environment by using food packaging that is all natural and made from annually renewable resources by buying from as many local vendors as possible and, of course, by using energy efficient equipment and recycling. We hope this is everything that you have been looking for in a burger place and MORE! Again, welcome and enjoy! “They're doing everything right...”

We had lunch here with another couple today and this place excelled on every level. We were seated promptly, our drink order was taken and filled quickly and it was a reasonably short wait for our food to arrive. Everyone enjoyed their burger, and the fries with cheese and bacon were out of this world! One plate of them was plenty for our party of four. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and took the time to refresh our drinks for us. The owner stopped by to check in and we were honestly effusive in our compliments. Definitely would go again next time we're out here!

“Great Burger - A Blast For Your Taste Buds”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

Had a great food experience with my wife while visiting the Palm Springs area and stopped at the restaurant for a late lunch. It was about a third full due to the hour but the food was phenomenal. We ordered the traditional cheese burger and the avocado burger - both were fabulous along with the half and half order of onion rings and fries. Bring the appetite - the burgers were large and flavorful.

The service was acceptable as they were in a down time; however, the follow-up was not as thorough as seen in other establishments, but the food made up for that.

If you're in the area and are in the mood for a burger, this is about as close to as a "can't miss" as it gets.

“Build A Good Fresh Burger”
Reviewed October 26, 2013

Lots of choices for any type of burger one could want. Fresh, lean meat. Great tasting. Their fries are good, onion rings are great. Menu offers order of half fries and half onion rings-which is perfect to share. Portions are generous. Menu offers hot dogs and shakes as well. We didn't order a hot dog; however it was delivered to the table next to us and it is very large.
Outdoor seating is available. This location has a view of the parking lot, so nothing great about that. Still a good spot when the weather is beautiful. They seem to have a lot of food to go orders,

“Seriously, #1 in Palm Desert?”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

This is an average burger restaurant. Now, coming from Chicago, we know good burger places, so I thought we'd give this a try do to it's high ranking. The burgers are cooked pretty well done (my fault for not ordering it less so), but there wasn't a lot of flavor to the beef. Two of us each had a burger and we split the tri-fry, which is regular fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings. You get plenty of each of the fries and a small amount of rings, all of which were very good. But it's the lack of flavor in the burger that has me wondering how this place achieved the top ranking. No burger place should be ranked higher than steak houses. Sorry, but that's my opinion. Total bill, including tax and tip was $36 for two of us. Trust me, there are many better places to eat at out here than this place.
