“Shop til you Drop”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

This is my very favorite activity to do while in the Palm Springs area. Although about a 30 minute drive from downtown Palm Springs, it's definitely worth checking out. It's open from 7am -2pm on Saturday and Sunday. I always go by about 8 am or I get too hot and too annoyed with the crowds as it tends to get busier later on in the day. There are many differnent boths selling kitchen gadgets, clothes, bags, shoes, socks, jewelry, soap, and all kinds of goodies. There is also an area that sells fresh produce, licorice, and all kinds of delicous goods. There is a food court with many different types of food vendors and clean restrooms. I also recommend arriving early as the parking is usually free. I always end up spending way more than I should.

“College of the Desert Art Market Rancho Mirage”
Reviewed February 17, 2013

Didn't know what to expect but we were surprised and pleased at the offering at the market. I understand the vendors change on occasion but on this day the selection was amazing and I made several purchases of unique clothing. Very happy with a hat bought for my husband at a vendor specializing in hats with very high UV protection particularly for those who have suffered from skin cancer. The hat was only $30 and I had paid nearly $100 for a Tilley much like it a short time ago in Canada. I bought some unique tops and sweaters, very trendy and beautiful fabric. Lots of jewellery, a nice selection of silver and lots of flip flops. Had a good hot dog lunch and will definitely go again. We were there for nearly three hours and didn't see everything,

“Fun Visit”
Reviewed February 14, 2013

We were lucky enough to be visiting at a time the Fair was scheduled. We had fun looking at all of the artists works and other fun items that were there. A great way to spend a few hours and do a little unique shopping.

Great fun. Nothing to buy if you are a foreigner. Paintings and garden furniture! Although plenty of food and fruit if you fancy. Easy to park. Sat & Sun. Finishes at 2.00 pm so go early.
