Now the Rockwood and more than just the name has changed. The once drab dining rooom and adjacent patio have been redone in a clean, fresh modern style with lots of tables for larger groups to sit and chat over a meal. We went early on a Friday evening so it was a bit quiet but were able to catch a bit of sunset. We ordered off the "small plated menu" Ahi poke which I always order was fresh, differently prepared and very ample as a meal. The Mr. ordered "Mac and Cheese" which came with two different add on to the basic, pork and shrimp. Had a nice and reasonably priced glass of wine and were completely satisfied. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and professional. We will definitley go again especially when the weather permits the lovely outdoor patio.

This restaurant is now called the Rockwood Grill. The atmosphere is contemporary and elegant, yet most people were dressed casually that dined there. The prices are a little high, but the quality and variety of food was fantastic. They also offer a buffet that looked good - ran about $34 each. I would recommend eating here at least once during your visit.

Over the last four years, this restaurant has metamorphosed from being Tuscany, which closed three years ago (and was DEFINITELY 5*) into being Lakeside two years ago, which retained elements of Tuscany and was quite good. This year (approximately 3 months ago) it became an all new Rockwood restaurant, following and on-going $3m refit to the hotel. The new restaurant sets itself up as a classic California, featuring all naturally sourced products. The seafood soup, featuring crab and prawns, is avaialble as a special on Mondays and is definitely looking out for - full of high quality ingredients and SO tasty. The lemon butter chicken was delightful, being light and also full of flavour. It was nice to see some of the same staff we have been attended to before over the last 5 years, still doing a great job and giving good value for money - not cheap, but you get what you pay for ...

Fantastic place for brunch, the lunches and dinners are ok but not amazing. Overall, good food at decent prices but you could probably find better.
