My friend from back home and I went on the afternoon tour on March 28th. Morgan, our guide, had encyclopaedic knowledge of the valley, the geology of the fault and its impact on the Indio Hills. She was kind enough to take pictures of all the groups on her Jeep. The highpoint was scrambling through a slot canyon deep within the hills.

Lots of fun and very informative - even for someone who has been studying the Coachella Valley for over 30 years.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and adapted the tour based on the interests of the jeep's passengers., Scenic and loved the hike in a slot canyon at Painted Canyon. We were well taken care off with pre-trip information and throughout the tour as well.

A group of 5 of our family went on a 4 hour Desert Adventure Jeep tour, but it was actually longer than 4 hours, as he did some extra touring. It was a fabulous day. Our guide, Jim was wonderful. He was very knowledgable and passionate with regards to everything about the tour. I had never been to Palm Springs before and this was a great way to learn about the history and see the gorgeous scenery and views. We took a couple of walks, one which led us up to the top of a peak which had an amazing view. You do need to be able to walk in abit of rugged territory, however I think if you had any mobility issues, you could just wait in the jeep while the rest of the group do the walks. Took the "San Andreas Fault" tour with Phil. Loved the scenery, short walks into geological features, and especially loved experiencing the tastes and feel of desert plants. Phil was a delight. If all 20 something of their guides are as knowledgeable and as funny, this has to be one of the best tour companies running.
