Stayed here to attend ESPN boxing event. Never having stayed here before I didn't know what to expect but I was pleasantly suprised. The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Everything about this hotel is positive. From easy covered self parking, excellent friendly staff in all areas, beautiful garden, pool area, good security, cleanliness throughout and good food. Excellent value considering the quality of our room and a staff that is so friendly and helpful. This truly is a "hidden gem" in a quiet lovely area away from traffic and hustle and bustle and I would recommend it to anyone.

This past week I went to the Pala hotel and casino for an ESPN fight. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the rooms were beautiful. This casino was very large and had table games. The table games were a little different then Vegas, but still fun times. The Italian restaurant was to die for, and the lamb chops were as good as anything I have ever had in any great restaurant. The pool area was wonderful, and the best is the little place were you get cake and coffee off the lobby. Another great was the free soda machine in the casino.
If you haven't been to this casino, then you must make a visit

Room Tip: all rooms are great, Jr suite the best

A little bit out of the way - which is good. No traffic, quiet and secluded, if you like that sort of thing. We stayed for four days, three nights. There are plenty of good restaurants (and a buffet, of course) to choose from. There are no other restaurants in Pala, anyway. Staff always pleasant and very helpful. Especially Martin at Guest Services who printed my LAX boarding pass at 8pm. (The business center was closed). Everything is sparkling clean. The Spa was great, according to the wife. The pool is heated just right, so a dip on a cloudy day as fine. A good variety of casino slots kept us busy. We will definitely return again.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on a higher floor - no view from the lower floors which face the parking lot.

Spontaneously, we decided to get away for a Friday night. We've stayed here before, and love the elegance of the rooms and easy accessibility from Orange County where we live. The resort feels somewhat remote, because you're about 15 minutes from the 15 freeway down a two lane road, making it feel like you're removed from the real world! It offers many amenities, such as spa facilities and a beautiful pool, which I've never taken advantage of for whatever reason. This time we got a deluxe mountain view room. Last time we chose a junior suite, mountain view, which was cool in that it has a big jacuzzi tub in the giant bathroom - with window so you can enjoy the view while soaking in the tub. Next time, I'll definitely go with that upgrade. Still, both the rooms are very nicely appointed and large with the small touches like a couple of free water bottles and coffee. The "Choices" buffet is fantastic! We agreed it's the best buffet we've had even in comparison to the Bellagio in Vegas - given that it's much cheaper (get a Player's Card for the 20% discount). The food is excellent quantity and offers almost as many options as the Bellagio. We also ate at the Noodle place and it was really good as well. The resort is very close to Temecula, so on our way home we cruised by Chapin Winery where we are members to pick up our wine shipment. (ALSO an excellent local option!! I highly recommend it..) I have to say the casino did not treat us well - financially, that is - and we found out something we never knew before: California Indian casinos cannot play the standard form of craps! So bear this in mind before you blithely throw down $60.

Room Tip: Have not tried the pool side, but the 5th floor view of the mountains was not great. On the mountai...

it pays to sign up for a player's club card because every so often the resort will send you some incentive coupons to keep you coming back. the rooms are clean and comfy. the hotel and casino staff are friendly. the complimentary fountain beverages in the casino are a nice treat. the pool is awesome! there are two parking structures: one for hotel guests and the other for those just visiting the casino. the live entertainment on the casino's center stage is top notch, enjoy. please note, the resort has a rule: no ice chests allowed. a nice place to stay and a fun place to play.

Room Tip: the "pool view" rooms have better views than the "mountain view" rooms

Spent a day and night here. Relaxed in the jacuzzi , swan in the open air pool, spa facilities were also on offer but I didn't have time! Poolside bar and eaterie were fantastic, huge portions!! Room on 4th floor overlooked the pool and the mountains beyond, stunning. Room was huge, beds so comfortable, staff offered excellent service in a very unobtrusive way. Casino was so much fun, nothing could have prepared me for the scale of the casino though, huge! Our evening meal was in the restaurant where every nationality of food was on offer buffet style. Anything you could ever had thought of food wise was there. Extremely enjoyable to sample the immense range from savoury to sweet. Highly recommend and would love to go back but for a longer stay.

Room Tip: Pool view!!

Love the rooms, spa and atmosphere but the buffet tops it all. Here Thanksgiving weekend and the food out outstanding. Lobster claws, oysters, shrimp, duck, rib eye, carne asada, rose water truffles, hazelnut truffle, macadamia not ice cream and at least one hundred more items. This place never disappoints. Great job to management, house keeping and Vicki the casino host :).
