Stayed here in July when it is foggy every day but still an amazing place to stay. The hotel is as old as the coast and the rooms all face the beach and have this massive jet tub in every room so if you like a great view of the water and or surf and want to just cross the street to hit some waves this is the place and after the sun goes down the cars go away and the stars come out so kick it on the beach at night and wow, what a sight

I was looking for a hotel to stay one night in San Francisco. They were $300+ per night plus tax. I found this hotel in the internet and very pleased because it is nice, affordable and in a nice area. The room was clean, indoor pool and for my surprise a jacuzzi in the room. It is about 30 minutes drive from the city but I saved money and very satisfied with the hotel.

We stayed here overnight for a very short staycation. Reading some of the reviews after we had booked made me extremely nervous. We were pleasantly surprised with a better experience than expected. Room was very clean and smelled great. Pros: very clean, ocean view, balcony, pleasant front desk staff. Cons: jacuzzi tub in awkward location, limited continental breakfast, check out at 11am. The price of the room is based on the location. We would stay here again based on location and ocean view.

We enjoyed the view and the room was clean and well appointed. There was a jacuzzi tub almost in the middle of the room. Since we are a family of four, this made using the tub like using a hot tub (bathing suits on), but we did it. Can't run the jets after 10pm though.

Access to the beach is easy and Pacifica Beach was not crowded at all. Beautiful location and tons of surfers. Sea lions were easily spotted. Parking seemed plentiful and we could park relatively close to our room.

The desk clerk seemed a bit young and wasn't able to give us good recommendations on some things.

The kids enjoyed the pool. There appeared to be a skate park a few hundred yards away, so if your kids are in to that, make sure they have their skateboard/bike/blades/scooter. There was a cool looking bowling alley down the street called Sea Bowl that we didn't have the chance to try. The Peruvian restaurant next door is excellent too.

We arrived later than we expected, about 7:30. We had pre-booked our room which made check-in a breeze. The front desk attendant was pleasant and helpful. Our room was close to the highway, and the road noise was a a bit loud, but the view more than made up for it. The room was clean and reasonably well decorated. Had it been colder, we would have enjoyed the fireplace. The sliding glass door opened to a walkway and grassy/dirt area, that had a perfect view of the shoreline, and we were able to watch the surfers as we ate dinner on the walkway/patio. It was very relaxing. They could put some work in on the lawn there and maybe add some chairs to watch the sunset. We did use the Jacuzzi tub and it worked well, and was clean, as was the rest of the room. One dissipointment was the drapes. The room darkener was an afterthought, and was to small for the sliding glass door. It let the morning light in. Over all it was a nice stay, and I would stay there again.

Room tip: The rooms closest to the hwy are great for views, but you will have to block out the road noise. It is a major artery to San Fransisco.

Hello and thank you for the review ,We are in the process of updating our rooms and the grounds also, we have put chairs out on the balconies, we will be looking into drought tolerant plants to do the rest of our landscapes, at this time with the current draught situation we have elected to use our water wisely on our guest instead of the lawns. Thank you again for your review and we hope to see you soon.

Never again will I stay here.
Con: The floors and walls were filthy dirty. If you sit on the edge of the bed the mattress slips around on the foundation. Small 32in TV. The soda machine on the 2nd floor was broken. (I was told to go down to the first floor and use that one. There was none on the first floor of that building. I would have had to go to the other building. The WIFI only worked for a minute or two and then there was no WIFI. I had called them about the WIFI and they said that they would have someone call me (still waiting for that call) Very thin walls. I knew when the kids above were up and running around. Very tight parking spots. Shower is very small
Pro: It has a spa
