We were looking for a restaurant to celebrate our parent's 60th Anniversary in Pacific Grove. They were staying in a nearby inn, so we decided to try this spot. We reserved a table in the patio area. We loved the patio with it's heaters. The setting is beautiful. We got there before sunset, so we were able to enjoy the view, the sunset, and the night lights. Very nice.
The service was excellent and we enjoyed our wait person. Took pics. ect. for us.
The food was good. The salads were huge and the desserts were yummy. The main dishes were good, but we were a little disappointed that there were not more offerings of sea food, because of the proximity to the ocean. We found the asparagus ravioli was very tasty. The clams in the clams and pasta where also very tasty, but the pasta was a little too al dente for being so thick. The salmon was good as well, and interestingly was served on a bed of lentils which ended up really working.
All and all a great experience.
