Visiting friends from our East coast home, we wanted to take them out to good restaurant that would be special for them. This fit the bill: interesting appetizers a very spicy ceviche empanada, a risotto cake with scallops, and standup main dishes I liked the wine list and we found a very affordable Vouvray for only a little more than we had paid at our favorite wine shop. Desserts were mixed, one excellent chocolate mud pie and a forgettable and tiny pannacota. The service was pleasant and not intrusive. We certainly will recommend it

I was in Pacific Grove last week and happened to stop into Passionfish for dinner at the last moment. So very glad we did as it was exactly what we were looking for- a lovely and varied menu with local seafood beautifully prepared and artistically presented. Our server was very helpful with her suggestions. All in all, when I am back in a Pacific Grove, I will be back to Passionfish.

We came here for dinner after a long trip from the east coast. Luckily a friend recommended Passionfish as we were exhausted and this meal couldn't have been more perfect. We eat out all the time, and I can't remember the last time I had such a pleasing meal. Not only was the food fantastic, but the prices were reasonable. We had the crab salad, spoonable lamb, scallops, and some dessert with mint. It was great. The wine was delicious too. The wait staff could be a bit more personable and friendly, but the food more than made up for it!

This was our first time to try this restaurant. Service and food was very good. We split a salad and each had the special scallop dish. The truffle sauce was gorgeous. The restaurant accommodated my wife's food allergy issues. We toped dinner off with the flourless chocolate cake. Everything was lovely
