Our family spent a week in Pacific Grove during the last week of July, 2013. The Camembert Cheese Small Plate/dinner menu, was truly the most exquisite thing I have ever eaten. The thicker slice of cheese was toasted, brown and crunchy around the edges. Port Wine and fig reduction covered the plate along with blue cheese crumbles. The cheese spread on the toasted bread was fresh and delicious. Sweet at first bite, but it had the tang of the blue cheese at the end. We are sorry that this restaurant was one we found at the end of our vacation, not at the beginning. We would have returned multiple times. We did stop in on our final day for a piece of their famous Olalliberry pie. DO NOT MISS this treat. You won't be able to eat it back home, wherever home is for you. Fresh cream and raspberries on top were the perfect finishing touch.
Best suited for more mature appetites and wallets.
