across the street from Asilomar, great walking beach, safe enough to put your feet in, the sand is so soft and clean.

We stayed walking distance to the beach. We stayed at the Sunset Inn. I liked being able to walk to the beach. My husband and I both like to walk, so the walking trail was nice. The beach is beautiful and has has some great views.

Don't miss the drive from Lover's Point in Pacific Grove along Monterey Bay around the point to Asilomar State Beach on the ocean. You can see pelicans and herons, sea lions and otters, and even the occasional whale spout. Watch the waves crash at the point, see the deer on the golf course, walk the sandy beach or trails at Asilomar. Wonderful ocean vistas and sunsets.
