Reviewed June 6, 2014 via mobile

Was recommended this place by Johnny and Vanessa and had to try it. The food was so unique and good. They have some awesome drinks Brazilian style. I will be back to have more food and enjoy it's harbor ambiance.

“Great Brazillian Cuisine”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

We've been here many times. It's the place we always take visitors, and no one hasn't loved it, whatever they had. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that the service is sometimes slow, and they have a hard time acknowledge you when you first enter the restaurant..

“Unique restaurant with beautiful harbor views”
Reviewed May 19, 2014

What a great location- especially now that the views last well past 7pm. Beautiful setting and very interesting artwork that is well placed- Someone with a professional eye must have don the interior design. Moqueca has a unique menu and both the entrees and appetizers are very reasonably priced for large portions. Try the KILLER Caipirinhas- they are refreshing and powerful! Some of the fried appetizers were a bit heavy, but that is just my personal opinion.

“Consistently excellent”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

Delicious. The lobster and shrimp moqueca was perfectly cooked. With the hearts of palm salad and the bom bom desert, it was fantastic meal. This being my fourth time at Moqueca, I am impressed at the consistency of the food, particularly the lobster, which can get rubbery if not cooked well. Ambience isn't its strongest quality, but the service is friendly and efficient, even on the busy night I visited, the Saturday before Mother's Day.

“Yummy and Different”
Reviewed May 3, 2014 via mobile

The cuisine in this restaurant is very different from any other Brazilian restaurant I have visited. Featuring moqueca, a sauce of finely chopped tomatoes, herbs and other goodies, one has a choice of fish and/or seafood to accompany the dish which is served boiling hot with rice or bread. Frankly, the sauce was so yummy I could have made a meal of just it....and I did enjoy my mussels moqueca. I also found that the soup of potatoes and kale seasoned with sausage provided a new taste sensation for me. The passion fruit mousse was a nice light finishing dish. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.
