Review of Vans Skatepark

Vans Skatepark
Reviewed April 5, 2012

It is on the same ARTS busline as the Disneyland Park. Once an hour you can travel from the Bus Pickup area at the "Land," and travel for about 20 minutes each way to The Block at Orange Outlet Center. The bargains are there if you are willing to look. The Block at Orange was clean and the service was great. Most of the great buys we found were sneakers at a store called Off Broadway. We found sneakers with a very good mark-down, and the quality and service were no-nonsense, but friendly. We also found a good deal on tights at the H&M Outlet.

the park is a really good park with nice ledges and rails it also has a nice outdoor street course.my vist to the park was awesome I got to meet bucky lasek in the bowl area and I got a autograph from him.I would put this on your spot list if your in southern cali.It has lots of visitors there everyday that come to watch or just skate. They have vending machines that come in handy when your skateing there they also have a viewing place for parents watching there kids skate they have a nice arcade on the second floor.you miet think 12 or 15 dollars is alot of money to pay for a skatepark admission but it is worth it.I think they need a park like this in every town.

The Vans Skate Park is located at the Block at Orange, and is a pretty good indoor skate park. When you walk in, there is a large Vans skateshop, and then you continue on into the skate park. There are bathrooms, benches, and lockers as you enter.
The park itself features several types of terrain. There is a couple street courses(including a course for beginners), a large bowl, and a huge half pipe.
They do offer several sessions for BMXers only.
There is also an upstairs area that has some vending machines, some arcade games, and lots of seating for spectators.
While this park isn't as large as most outdoor parks, and the street course is a bit small, it is still a decent park, and would be very good when there is bad weather.
