“The best Chilean Seabass EVER”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2013

Usually I am a coupon clipping, early bird diner who like to save while indulging in a good meal.
Citrus City has a very good happy hour with great food, wine is decent for happy hour, but the Martinis have gotten a little smaller over time.
I will admit that my budget goes out the window for their Chiliean Seabass with Risotto that is absolutely the most mouth watering meal I have ever enjoyed. It is very pricey, (over $30) and worth every penny. I have tried to find a place that has Chilean Seabass for less money and it NEVER compares to this dish which is absolutely amazing. All of the food here is excellent and you will not be disappointed. The Seabass is expensive (but worth it), everything else is reasonably priced. Check out the weekday deals they have too. Great food, right in the Circle.

“Not what I expeted”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

Being from out of town, seeing so many people on the patio I thought it would be good. Not so much. The ambiance both inside and out is nice. To start, the bread with balsamic dressing was like potato bread...Wonder Bread soft rather than a baguette. I asked the waitress about several items on the menu - the soup "meatball" and what is Ahi Poki Hawaiian tuna? "It's how it's prepared". She was a little too snippy and it was an imposition to get a few details about how the dishes were prepared. We really weren't off to a good start.

The kale salad with apple and jicama was very fresh and quite good. My son's mixed greens were a little soggy. The calamari had a sauce on top that made it soggy not crispy. The muscles are something new on the menu. The sauce was very thick and really didn't work well. The stuffed chicken breast reminded me of chicken with spinach dip.

We tried quite a few things and gave it a fare shot. The atmosphere is deserving of better food.

“Met my friends from High School”

My friends from high school have dinner there every December. It is always very good and they are very nice to reserve a large table where we can all be together.

“Great atmosphere and great food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

Went here for dinner on a Sat night because we wanted to get something "different" than the usual menu items. I had the Chilean Sea Bass with a side of sauteed spinach. Both were good. My date had the grilled vegetable platter and the beet salad. The beet salad is not a regular menu item but they have it occasionally. She is a vegetarian and rather picky, but she loved the beet salad and said she would go back just for that. It was served with a fried feta cheese cake on top-almost looked like a crab cake. It tried hers as well and it was excellent.
When we first got there (about 6:45 p.m.) the outside patio seats were packed and it was very noisy out there- found out it was happy hour until 7 at the bar and outside patio.

“One little thing”

Excellent service and some of the best fries ever. However, the Tomato Caprese special: tomatoes were not ripe enough for the dish. All other dishes were great.
