“A nature lovers park with lots of options”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

We visited this park recently in the morning and found this huge park with lots of people taking long walks along the many roads along thick green surroundings with cool breeze and sounds of chirping birds. Few water bodies, a zoo, a mini train track, a choice of horse ride, picnic areas were options.
We were surprised to see many peacocks roaming in the park, some showing off their open plumes, a fantastic sight. Also many water birds around the small lake.
We took the hiking trail that led us to the top of a hill with nice views of the surroundings.
This park is worth visiting, special for morning walks for fresh cool pure air that will leave you totally refreshed for the day.

“Fun Family Day”
Reviewed April 21, 2013

The park had lots to offer my family: however, my children (ages 7 and 9) thought is was a little boring. Also, they were too old for the pony rides and were disappointed. The scenery and location were perfect for our picnic. After talking to others, we discovered that fishing and hiking is fantastic for families with children of similar ages. Will definitely try that in the future

“Lots to do here”
Reviewed April 20, 2013

One of the better regional parks, this sprawling park includes both native landscape, and grassy play areas. The zoo is surprisingly good, and small kids will like the train ride. Lots of hiking, and biking options. Grab food from local places just outside the park and enjoy a nice picnic.

“Park”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

It's a very large park. That's all there is to it. Nothing more, nothing less. It's kind of nice, but parking is a waste of $10.

“Been Going Here for 50 Years and Still Love It”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

I first went to Irvine Park while dating my husband to be. We took our children there, and now our grandchildren. It's a great way to spend the day. It has everything: bike rentals, boat rentals, horse rentals, train ride, and the Orange County Zoo. You can picnic on the many tables, or go for a hike.
