Stayed at this motel as a stopover the night before the Pomona Swap Meet. Lady on the front desk was pleasent enough but all downhill from there. The room was very tired and in need of a makeover. The walls appeared generally grubby and in need of a coat paint, and the wall power sockets were worn to the extent where a plug would not stay in them!

On a plus note, the bed was quite comfortable even if the sheets were a little bobbly.

The bathroom was worse with peeling paint, non-working plug in the bath and cracked tiles. The towels had barely any tread left and were stained where they had been used so many times. Didn't so much as dry as spread it around and well past their discard date!

I know Days Inn are known for cheap, good value accommodation, but if you are offering the basics (i.e. clean and comfortable), then you need to get the basics right. We had stayed in another Days Inn the two previous nights in San Diego after flying in from the UK. It was much better and included breakfast. So, it can be done whilst still offering low prices.

Like most Days Inns, the motel is located just off the interstate and therefore you expect some road noise. Some how, that road noise seemed amplified at this motel! Better sound proofing would be advantageous.

All in all, we were glad we only stayed the one night. The motel rooms and public areas could do with a lick of paint and some TLC.

This 3-storey motel is just a 5 minute drive form Ontario airport, making it a convenient location for me since I arrived after 11PM and by the time I drove the rental car there from the lot it was after midnight. The site plot itself might be somewhat of a concern to some, because the motel office adjoins the entry of a liquor store. But this large corner parcel also houses a filling station, donut shop, and 24/7 Denny's. And there's a strip mall a block west. I stayed only one night, driving the next morning to the Mojave and then on to Las Vegas. But for a single overnight, this was an efficient place to stay. The room rate here was lower than most of the surrounding airport area lodgings, and the motel's proximity to the I-10 freeway exit enabled me both to find the motel quickly that evening and access the freeway easily the following morning for my ongoing trip. However, there are some downsides to consider: drab room furnishings, worn bed covers, late night freeway noise (even with closed windows), and in my case, flickering lamps and a room clock that seemed to have its dials and buttons glued shut. However, had I stayed another day or so, the in-room fridge, microwave, and coffee maker would have come in handy. Like I say, for a quick overnight this place will be suitable for most seasoned freeway travelers. And if you're looking for a budget place to settle into for a little longer period, and don't have too loofty expectations, this place might also work for you.

I stayed here for just one night. I needed a place near the airport. I was concerned about the highway noise, but was surprised at how quiet the room was. It was clean, large room. The location was great and the price was right.

With wife and 2 kids we did a quick over night here after spending 2 nights in San Diego Days Inn. True: it's no resort. It's a motel on the freeway.

The room was, however quiet and clean. And the front desk informed me that they just completed replacing all beds (they're queen size, not double as some marketing suggests).

For a quick stop, yes we'll stay there again.

We stayed here for 1 night on a trip from San Francisco to Palm Springs.
The woman at the front desk was aggressive and impatient with us.
We booked 2 rooms which were shabby and smelt. They were non smoking rooms but one stunk of smoke. If we hadn;t been so tired we would have left immediately.
The rooms were shabby and need updating. The lift is all graffitti'd and needs cleaning. We felt unsafe here.
There is no breakfast but there is a Dennys acroos the car park where we got a good dinner and breakfast for a reasonable price. Didn't feel safe even walking across the car park.
Couldn't wait to leave. Only hotel on our trip that was a disappointment.
Only good thing was that it had free internet wifi.
Would not go back.
