We went to Tahoe for a summer holiday with family and friends. There were quite a large number of us staying in different areas around the lake. We had our three young kids with us and were looking for somewhere that catered to families. Whilst, we didn't spend a lot of time in the resort itself other than sleeping and relaxing after the lake activities, the resort accommodation was much more comfortable than the accommodation that friends and family endured in other parts of Tahoe. The apartments appear to be privately owned and so they are probably individually decorated, the one that we had was well presented and pleasant. With a range of restaurants and bars and shops there is wide range of entertainment options in the resort.
The resort itself seemed to have a range of summer activities, hiking & biking etc but the greater Tahoe area is just awesome. Don't go there without a car, there is just so much to do in the region and its a big place. The only disappointment that we had was that 10 days wasn't enough time in Tahoe.
