It's hard to choose from the ample all-day breakfast menu, let alone the salads and sandwiches served for lunch. Bonnie Lu's serves three kinds of eggs Benedict and had three different quiches. The spinach quiche was rich and tasty, and the Hollandaise sauce was silky, not gloppy. Best of all, the toast was fabulous: crispy and well-buttered. The fruit cup contained berries as well as the usual melon and pineapple. Service is solicitous, but be prepared to wait for the food.
While you're waiting, be sure to check out the wooden chicken near the door. The chicken's head disappeared one day, and the restaurant got photos of its travels to landmarks in New York and Paris. Then the head came home to roost.
