This is one of the top 5 Resorts I have ever visited and
all the service facilities and rooms where 5 star,
Including their Signature Restaurant Maravilla,
Where the food is off the charts.
The Spa is centered on the property and
offers just about any treatment your could ever ask for.
This is a perfect Anniversary or girls getaway place..

Room Tip: We stayed in Suite 765 it is at the end of the road and close to a busy street, but totally quiet in...

Ojai in general and this spa in particular are very special places. I had a chance to take a vacation in the sun of southern California but due to timing my husband was not able to come. I decided to try staying at the Spa by myself and I have never felt safer anywhere! I was having some issues with my health and honestly I feel my vacation in this healing environment cured me. I think the reason this resort gets such high reviews is the staff. I have stayed at many similarly priced hotels, but the staff at the Ojai Valley Inn make this resort stand out amongst the Conde Nast rated hotels even internationally. Bravo!

Room Tip: I was on the first floor in the Arbolata building and it was very nice. The upper floors would be n...

We were blown away by this resort and Ojai in general. A magical, special family retreat.
The resort is stunning. The views are breathtaking. The proximity to town is perfect and walkable. We definitely plan to return. The food is pricey, but you are so close to town that you have options. We loved it!!!

Ojai is exceptional in that it excels in all areas. The room offered excellent mountain views, great amenities, a very comfy bed and was big. I love their bath products. The spa is serene, with a great variety of services and the staff must be at the top of their professions. The two massages I got were fantastic. The golf course is challenging with breathtaking views. The restaurants offered unique items on the menu and the food was delicious. My husband and I loved the experience and hated to leave. I rarely say this, but I wouldn't change a thing.

Room Tip: Get a higher level room with a great view and big balcony.

This is a top-notch resort. The rooms, including the more standard Ojai rooms, are roomy and well appointed. The grounds are gorgeous, with a lot of oak and other trees all over, golf course greens meandering throughout, a beautiful view of the mountains surrounding the valley, a lovely herb garden. Families with children can enjoy the family pool. Adults who want more peace can enjoy the Herb Garden pool, which is large, peaceful and surrounded by cabanas and beach chairs, with a whirlpool, and is serviced by a cafe/bar serving light meals inside or at poolside, as well as a billiards table, foosball table (called taca-taca in Chile), big screen TV - a sophisticated and very comfortable environment. You can change in your room or in the bathrooms in the pool area. There are several eateries, including Ojai Grill with an outdoor patio option overlooking the grounds, Maravilla - a more elegant, upscale restaurant inside - a pub, a cafe down by the spa. Oh, and if you like Spa treatments, this resort offers a high-end spa well worth the visit. We have stayed here 3 times, previously in fireplace suites, but this time in Ojai king rooms, and even these Ojai king rooms were very spacious, comfortable, quiet and well-appointed (we were in the Fontana building). Service at the resort is vey friendly, courteous, attentive. A great place to stay, well worth the splurge.

Room Tip: Rooms are expensive, and the less expensive Ojai rooms are perfectly comfortable, roomy and well app...

I had heard good things about this resort, and it was all true. Staff are attentive and happy to help. Spa is amazing as is the food at the restaurants. You can dress up or go casual, as the guests are comfortable in whatever they are wearing. Planning on my next stay!

We were sitting in a Starbucks in OC, trying to find a vacancy for a spontaneous (immediate departure) weekend getaway when, by sheer stroke of luck, we discovered Ojai Valley Inn & Spa through Trip Advisor. As destiny (and good luck) would have it, a young woman named Bree, was working at the check in desk. Dissatisfied with our room (the standard room is quite dark and has no view), she gave us a wonderful upgrade at an unbeatable price. We were amazed by the hacienda style suite and really appreciated the complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries she had sent over for us as we had recently gotten married. Later on, after walking through the beautiful grounds of the resort, we were once again pleasantly surprised by the generosity and hospitality of the restaurant staff, who offered us a complimentary dinner to compensate for both the excessive wait and a messed up order.

Room Tip: For the best possible experience, choose the suite, it's worth it!
