We had a marvelous 3 night, 4 day stay and highly recommend this Inn. Due to the tranquility I felt like I was away from my busy life for weeks rather than days.

It was a delight to be able to relax and have a peaceful visit free of any misbehaving loud cranky crying children. No small children are permitted to stay here but they are welcome at the other property in town ( Blue Iguana)

We enjoyed the magnificent breakfast served by the pool. The coffee was outstanding and better than any coffee shop. It was replenished frequently and kept very clean as any used plates or spills were immediatly taken care of.

The grounds are lush and well groomed. The entire resort environment is conducive to creating a calm restful tone where you can recharge your soul.

Our two bedroom suite was very spacious, clean and came with everything we could need.

Cant wait to return to this oasis!

Just enjoyed a couple of relaxing days in the Treehouse at the Emerald Iguana Inn in Ojai. Our room was lovely and large with a great tub in the bathroom and a gorgeous balcony. Staff was helpful and welcoming, the grounds are wonderful. I did wish for feather pillows and I could have done without the guest speaking loudly on her cell phone...inside voices people, some of us relish quiet!

Room Tip: We loved the Treehouse room.

Stayed for our 10th anniversary and we were not disappointed! Well organized staff, attentive service, and a pretty property. We had a filling breakfast each morning, enjoyed the wine and cheese each evening (accompanied by a poolside flautist playing serene melodies), and had in-room massages. Our room (the Grasshopper) was clean, well-appointed, and quiet. Every restaurant suggested by the staff was right on target (both those to avoid and those to try). Nicely located so that we could walk to nearby restaurants and the farmer's market too. A wonderfully relaxing spot for a weekend get away! We'll return soon.

We were camping, fishing, driving through LA traffic, looking for a nice relaxing end to our trip and this was perfect :) We stayed in the grasshopper room - had claw foot bath tub which we enjoyed, nice shower, great patio and morning coffee with Emerald Inn mugs, we also took the 2 champagne glasses as souvenirs (they charge you $7.50 each, which is a lot, but they were so cute and we had no champagne glasses, so it worked perfect). We were right next to the hot tub/pool area, the hot tub was so relaxing, and the pool we sat by for breakfast :) We also enjoyed hiking right by per recommendations from the extremely nice staff. Such a cute place, will definitely look to stay again! :)

Room Tip: Grasshopper was quiet, right next to the pool, has a club foot bath tub, and by the back of the park...

My wife and I actually stayed in Ojai because of the movie 'Easy A'. It had been kind of a running joke for a while, so she ended up surprising me for my birthday with a weekend stay. Ojai is an interesting place, not at all what I was expecting, but glad we finally pulled the trigger on the visit. My wife said it was pretty hard to find a place that had both good reviews, availability, and decent prices. I'm glad she found this place. We arrived late, so we had to check in at their other location (which was on the way in). I'm glad we stayed here vice the other location as it was closer to town. This place was exactly what we were looking for: quiet, quiet, and quiet. There really isn't much to do in town except hike and eat. We didn't do much except read our books by the pool and have some drinks. We did venture out on Saturday to taste some olive oils nearby, which was nice. Learned a little bit about the process, and sampled almost a lunches worth of bread and oil. Came back in the middle afternoon to a flute player, snacks, and wine by the pool. Was not expecting that. I will definitely come back and stay. We stayed in the tadpole ( I think that's what it was called) room which was nice. It was VERY quiet here. Probably would go mad after a week, but a long weekend is perfect.

Very unusual layout and design. Buildings look like they were built by DR. Zeuss. Lovely Inn with large trees on the property. Many rooms had interesting outside designs. Located on a dead end street. No traffic. No noice. Close to downtown Ojai.

Keep your Iphone/smart phone camera handly.

I found the breakfast OK but not outstanding. This is minor in the overrall review of our stay.

To us the only reason to go to Ojai is the Emerald Iguana Inn. This was one of six B&Bs we stayed at during our eight day trip in CA. It rates high on our list of nice places to stay at.

Staff were happy and helpful. Price was reasonable.

Ojai did not have much to offer us. We were expecting a lot more art galleries and interesting buildings. We had a nice $33 dinner at a small restaurant in town. Bottle of wine and small personal Pizza hit the spot .

If you are looking for something with an individual touch, this is your place to go. A very romantic place, perfect for recharging your batteries.
The rooms are extraordinary and individual, the atmosphere is so serene. I also liked the breakfast around the pool.
