Saw the reviews for this restaurant & was going to pass on it, but decided to give it a try. With expectations low - I had a pretty good time. A lot of locals hang out here & you can get some great info on where to go. Had the clam chowder & lemon pepper mahimahi & both were good.

Love the view of the bay from the back deck. The calimari is good, as are the soft tacos and quesadillas, but the vegetables tempura were a greasy disappointment.

Sunday night was a strange crowd. Loud early 80's and 90s rock with some spontaneous dancing and very drunk people. Not a great place to enjoy the harbor view and a nice meal. Food was OK and service was average. We eventually moved inside due to the loud and strange outdoor experience.

Horrible restaurant--musty, old smell when you walk in the door. We should have turned around and left. Service was negligent at best and it was not like the place was full as it was virtually empty. I ordered shellfish skewers which were advertised as shrimp, lobster, scallops with bacon and onions on skewers. There was no bacon, not a single scallop and what they called lobster was mush (we live in Boston and KNOW what lobster is supposed to be--taste and texture). There were three (total) of the tiniest shrimp I have ever seen and lots and lots of red peppers--it was the most expensive pepper and onion dish I have ever had. Only decent thing on the table between my husband's dinner (chicken something, hard to tell what) and mine was the bread. Stay away from this place.

Food is pretty good here. Service pretty good. Cleanliness is mediocre. Crowds are heavy on weekend Sun brunch but the restaurant can't help it if supply exceeds demand. Would be nice if the lines didn't go in front of your table though; it's annoying to eat with people milling around hovering above you, and the noise level is high. Harbor views are nice but that's the main asset of this place, which is like a lot of coastal restaurants; the view are great, the crowds extreme, and if you can rely on your imagination for the scenery there are better places than this to go. In short, like the saying goes, pretty good is really pretty bad.
