The pier it a terrific place to start your tour of Oceanside. Take a walk out to the end and watch the surfers. Then take a walk on the strand or just cruise in your car along the edge of the sand. The beach is awesome too. If you want fine dining check out 333 Pacific at the foot of the pier. If you want a casual experience with the locals and tourists alike go two blocks inland and go to the Cabo Grill. The rooftop at the Cabo Grill is one of the best places on the planet to sit back and enjoy the sunset with cocktails and Mexican food.

“Great Views”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

The pier is a local treasure. A pleasant walk with great views of the coastline. At the end of the pier is a nice restaurant where a pleasant lunch offers good food and pleasant vista's. If you are a fisherman you will find lots of great spots to find the catch of the day. The pier is definitely a place to see if you're in the area.

“Happens chance”
Reviewed November 22, 2013

Driving up the old coastal highway, trying to trick our Tom Tom. Was hard to find a park, but found a $2 per hour almost opposite the Lifesavers building. Wandered out to look at the beach and, low and behold, there was the pier. Was a beautiful walk along the pier and stunned to find you can actually stay on the pier in the cute little cottages. Public Restrooms at the Lifesavers building, but got a bit freaked out with the homeless guys having an argument outside the Ladies.

“Nice beach & Pier”
Reviewed November 18, 2013

We came to do some paddle boarding and our friends took photos of us from the pier. It's a nice beach and pier that well kept up. There is a Ruby's diner at the end of the pier. We opted to eat at the Tin Fish under the pier. We were there during the day however we've been told it's not a great place to be in the evening.

Take a leisure stroll down the pier, you may run into some fun people or even a pelican or two. Great place to watch the sunset.
