101 Cafe in Oceanside, CA is rich in history being one of the oldest operating eateries on the entire Pacific Coastline.
The menu is the breakfast and lunch classics diner style. Eggs, pancakes, corn beef hash, hash browns sandwiches and the like. I had the Eggs Benedict which was very enjoyable for the price. All else is very reasonably priced.
Service is good but no one is rushing so be prepared to sit and enjoy your company and the food to come.
This is a cash only establishment. There is a cash machine on premise. I don't know the fee.
Parking is adequate
101 Cafe is worth the visit and will likely have you come back again.

Fun and very casual cafe reminiscent of years past. My husband had one of the best every omlettes and we will definitely return.

Me and my husband visited thinking it would be a great little place. Boy were we wrong, we would have gotten more for our money and better service at McDonalds! We waited so long for our food and just when I was getting ready to leave our food comes. My eggs were cold, my husbands burgar was the size of a gulf ball, the bun was super big compared to the meet. The only good thing about this place was sitting outside enjoying the sun! If you like your food cold and you like to wait an hour for your good even when it's not busy then this is the place for you! We will not be coming back!

Please let us know when something is not right so we may fix it immediately. Our burgers made from fresh Angus Chuck are 1/3 pound and are hand formed similar to ones made on your barbecue. The 101 Cafe has good old fashioned food at great prices in a fun atmosphere. The walls are covered with scenes of Oceanside back in the day and the owner and servers are very friendly. Great shakes too!

We had a lunch of cheeseburgers and chili. Nice size portions. The freshly made cheeseburger was juicy and tasty, the chili has lots of cheese on top, and a kick of hot sauce. Fair prices and nice atmosphere at this historic cafe.
