Since we drive a lot, if we have fast food, it's either the turkey burger at Carl's Jr., or something from El Pollo Loco. Obviously Carl's Jr. is a first choice because you can see them from the freeway. We have eaten several times at the Carl's Jr. at 775 College Blvd., Oceanside, because we drive past it a lot. They have consistently done our order WRONG. We eat at other Carl's Jr.s, and they are always correct and good. The final straw was earlier this month when we ordered the new spicy turkey burger but with NO jalapenos. I guess "NO" translates to "LOTS"-they were stacked 3 deep on my burger. I took 1 bite and almost choked. Took it back to the counter and the manager (who could hardly speak English), tried to understand the problem. Finally a nice, English-speaking busboy explained it to her. They replaced the burger, no apology, no nothing. That 1 location has had so many problems, we now skip it (and some of their other locations-they are franchised to a local company-not "company" stores). I appreciate the fact that they want to employ all ethnic groups, but PLEASE have the manager speak/understand English. Is that too much to ask?
