We love this facility. Friendly staffs and clean rooms. Ocean view but it's not ocean front. It's one parking lot away from Oceanside Harbor and the ocean. Lots of surfers surfing in the ocean. Mostly local surfers and it's nice walk around the property. The property is close to freeway, but freeway noise does not bother us. We like the space of the room and fireplace in the living room. We will go back.

We love the pool. It's nicely heated in the winter time.

The Hotel is in a nice location the fold away "Murphy bed" is crap..! when I finally fell asleep I woke up with pains that I had never felt before . If it comes with all studio do not stay there, get a one bedroom with a standard bed.. The area is nice, restaurants are close and only a short walk or drive from the resort .The beach is next to the harbor, so you see both.... .

Room Tip: Don't get a studio,

We stayed in Oct 2013 in room 5109. PERFECT location for the central elevator. Top level.

This room is very spacious. There were 8 of us and the unit sleeps 8. King bed in master bedroom, then two bedrooms, one with a queen, one with two twins and then a murphy bed pull out in the living room. We are a family of 6 with two guests. It was just fine for this amount of people.

The mattress in the Master bedroom was outstanding to me. Probably the best mattress I've ever slept on in a hotel setting.

There are two TVs one in the family room and one in the master bedroom. It would have been nice to have TVs in all the rooms, though. There are also DVD players.

The kitchen has everything you need. There is also a stacked washer and dryer. Very convenient. We had most meals in the room. Nice, large patio with gas grill.

You are within walking distance to the Ocean, about 1/2 mile. There are little restaurants and shops on the way there. I recommend Harbor Fish and Chips. Very tasty, enjoyed the fish tacos. I also tried Beach Break, not as good to me. There's also a Joe's Crab Shack.

There are two pools, a regular pool that goes from 3.5 ' to 5' deep and a kiddie pool that is 1.5' deep. There is also a nice hot tub. Tennis courts and basketball. Very pretty grounds.

Downtown Oceanside has a great sushi restaurant called Harney Sushi. You can also ride the Coaster train which takes you to San Diego. It's a fun and very scenic train ride.

My sister owns the timeshare for Worldmark, so I paid her. I did not get bothered to attend any seminars/sales pitches. I thought the room was great! Paying my sister $100.00 a night for a three bedroom was a bargain. Very worth it if you know someone who can get you in.

Our stay at this resort was very comfortable. The two bedroom suite was beautiful and well equipped with anything we could want. We didn't use the fireplace but it would have been nice in the off season. Pool was clean and decent sized. Nice tennis and basketball courts. We had room # 2014 on the water side so we heard the train but not freeway noise. We had a tiny view of the ocean. Timeshare selling was minimal. We talked to them for 5 minutes on arrival and turned down the breakfast presentation. They only called us once to see if they could change our minds. The location is handy for freeway access but otherwise not that great. Although we could walk to the harbor and the restaurants there, we chose to drive to different beaches. The pier at Oceanside is just a short drive and the beach there was pretty nice. I don't know how much more expensive it is, but if you want beachside, then check out the other Worldmark resort right on the pier beach. Oceanside itself is not a great SoCal location. You are right next to Pendelton military base and it's presence is felt in the nearby businesses, etc. However being half way between LA and San Diego is a nice compromise. We spent time in Laguna Beach and La Jolla.

Room Tip: Ask for freeway side if want less train noise.
