Great location, very strong good drinks if that's your thing and special priced appetizers even on Saturday! We really enjoyed it.

“Not worth the money!”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

I am currently in CA and business and visited 333 Pacific on recommendation from a coworker. We came as a group of 6. We made a reservation which they easily accommodated and the service was very good from beginning to end. The drinks were reasonable priced and we took the servers recommendations on several of the hundreds of vodkas to try and all were excellent. Thus was probably the highlight of the meal.

We started with several appetizers: the crab cakes, poke tacos, calamari, ahi tuna stack. Of those we tried, only the calamari was memorable. The ahi tuna stack had avocados that were not ripe and edamame that were virtually raw. Other than eating the tuna off the top, most of that dish remained.

While we had a variety of entrees for dinner, again nothing was memorable for the $30 /pp price. All told with a few appetizers, no deserts and 1-2 drinks each, we spent $420 which is why I can't rate this restaurant higher.

“Food Worthy of the View”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

We dined at the 333 twice during restaurant week and had two great meals. Get there as soon as they open to get a patio table to watch the sunset. It's quite a show along with a great meal.

“333 As Good As It Can Be!”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

There could be a story written about this restaurant. First of all, it opened at a time when very few investors would consider starting a restaurant. The economy was beginning to dim, and in a field where it is common that many new businesses fail, 333 achieved great success. I first became familiar with 333 Pacific when they had a community benefit for the Oceanside Museum of Art. As I recall, the Museum charged a small donation of $25 and we were invited to experience this new restaurant, where we were treated to unlimited beverages and hors d’oeuvres. Although this most likely happened with a large expense to the restaurant, it was a brilliant idea as it created a grand entrance to this dining delight.

333 Pacific overlooks, without interruption, the blue Pacific. The very attractive facility is located at the corner of the Wyndham Hotel and parking is relatively convenient. There are several city parking lots nearby, parking meters adjacent, and a little-known secret that permits parking for a limited number of customers in the Hotel garage without charge. Upon entering the restaurant a guest will notice an architecturally stunning bar, which boasts the largest vodka martini selection in the county. There are plenty of booths and tables, both inside and on the covered patio, overlooking the sea.

Although this is considered an upscale restaurant, and priced accordingly, it is not uncommon to find visitors in casual clothing including shorts. This is, after all, because it’s right at the beach. The restaurant is one of nearly a dozen restaurants owned by the Cohn family, San Diego’s premier restaurant group.

So, if you’re in the mood for dining at a first-class restaurant in coastal North County, 333 is the place to be!
