When Howard's is good, they are great! However, if you get them when they are too busy or any time during the week around lunch or you get one of the apathetic servers (which is nearly all of them save a couple), good luck getting your food hot, much less as you ordered it.
And the food is pretty good, when it's hot as ordered. Their gluten free waffle is one of my favorite waffles (most of my friends can't even tell its GF) and they have a wonderful breakfast selection before 12:30.
Go early on the weekends, expect a wait. And enjoy quirky Occidental.
