We stayed at the Inn at Occidental for a short weekend stay a few weeks ago. We arrived on Saturday, and Tina was very gracious getting us checked in and situated in the room. She also helped us with reservations. Our first night we went to her recommendation, Underwood, which was fabulous. We had a great breakfast Sunday morning at the inn, everything offered was top notch! Unfortunately my husband came down with a terrible cold on Sunday, and we were in the room most of the afternoon/night. Tina kindly cancelled our dinner reservation, helped me get situated with our carry out, and even offered me a glass of wine. Such a great hostess! Our room was very comfortable (Cut Glass). The hot tub on the patio was fantastic, the bed comfortable, and there was plenty of space. If we're ever back in the area, or have friends traveling to wine country, this is the place!

Adorable themed rooms (we stayed in the "kitchen" suite), automatic fireplace & jacuzzi in room, amazing service, complimentary wine/cheese reception at 5pm and eggs benedict/continental breakfast in the cozy breakfast room. This is our 2nd time there and we loved it!

Room Tip: We loved the Sonoma Lodge & Kitchen-themed rooms :)

This is probably my 5th or 6th visit to this amazingly comfortable Inn. When my wife and I need to retreat from the daily grind and need to reconnect, this is where we go. We last stayed in the Wine Country room with a very comfy bed, fireplace and romantic two-person jetted-tub. Need I say more! I don't know what there is to do in the area, we never seem to get out of the room, save for breakfast in the morning and a stroll down to one of the fine restaurants.

Google maps failed to provide the best directions but once we got there the food was wonderful, the bed was comfortable, the decor was delightful and the ambiance was great! We had dinner at Bistro des Copain just around the corner which was fabulous.

This was an anniversary/birthday weekend. It was a lovely Inn, and we would like to visit it again.
Looking forward to our next visit with friends in tow. We took a driving tour around the area...very nice. Our two nights there were very special and we are looking at booking the cottage and a couple of the rooms for friends for a special weekend.

Room Tip: All the rooms are very different...we got a tour. Decor in all of the was very different and they a...

After spending the afternoon on the Zipline through the RedWoods, we asked our guides where would be the best place to eat?
They said in Unison, 'Inn at Occidental.'
The food was fresh, Service was excellent, everything was home made and it tasted amazing!
We spent a month in the USA and this was one of the best places we stopped to eat.
It was so enjoyable.

Occidental is such a great place to relax! The best part is always our stays at The Inn at Occidental!
This is our "go to" when we need to escape The City... Nothing like snuggling up in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine! We always request a different room...all are great! Our last room had French doors off the garden....absolutely magical!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great!
