“A wonderful experience”
Reviewed June 16, 2012

We were lucky enough to be included in a private tour of Rudd Winery. We were hosted by Natalie, who proved to be a very knowledgeable, well spoken young woman. She gave us a delightful tour of the winery, along with interesting tidbits about the Rudd family. In addition, we had a delicious lunch on the terrace accompanied by three wonderful wines. We left with a much better understanding of the complexity of producing wine. Four adults also left with very nice impression of Rudd Winery and Natalie Bath. If you make it here, be sure to take in the beautiful gardens created and maintained by Mrs. Rudd.

“A memorable and pleasant experience”
Reviewed November 27, 2011

We were surprised to learn that not only was our tour private but so was our tasting and we were so lucky to be hosted by Sam Rudd, the winemaker/vintner/owner's daughter herself. She was wonderfully delightfully and very enjoyable. She gave us a nice tour of the amazing property and caves and shared the impressive story of her father's business and her family life. The three tastings were paired with small appetizers and all were fantastic. Bought one of the most expensive wines I own to date but very happy to do so. We are very grateful for the experience and we root her on as she continues to grow in the business and industry.

“Excellent Napa Valley Winery”
Reviewed February 4, 2010

My husband and I visited Rudd last weekend for the first time. I called for our appointment the day before our visit and we received extra special service being the only 2 people on our tour. I imagine they are very busy during tourist season like everyone else, but I have the feeling that Jeff (Director of Wine & our tour host) would make each person feel special while visiting Rudd. After announcing our name at the front gate we drove inside this beautiful property to the main building and we were immediately greeted by Jeff's smiling face and his hand extended to greet us warmly. Although, we were already feeling special watching the front gate open slowly to allow us entry, Jeff led us inside to freshen up before our tour. We began in the vineyard and we were given very interesting notes on the grapes, landscape, and history of Rudd. We were led to the beautiful and functional herb garden and we especially enjoyed the story behind Mr. Rudd's special water fountain. The caves came next and Mr. Rudd's private collection room. I am in the winery industry, but this was the first time I had seen a stone built in the shape of an egg to hold wine. Amazing!! Once back inside the main building we were greeted with a very inviting 4 glass setting and place mats with our name on them to welcome us. "Lots of Class." Although we have other wineries to visit we were very comfortable to just spending time listenting to Jeff and having him answer all of questions and tasting delicious wine. If you want the ultimate in a tour and personal service take the time and money to enjoy Rudd Winery.
