We ate here twice on our trip. The price isn't exactly inexpensive; however, the food was very good. Both times we ate on the bar side of the restaurant, which was very crowded. The tables are very close together. We felt like we were eating with the party sitting next to us. I would recommend sitting on the other side. We did not because of the wait but will sit on the other side the next time we are in the area.

We have dined here many times and have always enjoyed the staff and food. This time was just for a quick lunch and for the first time we sat outside by the marina. Of course a much more casual setting but it was a warm June day and we had just as good service and we enjoyed the view. Inside you have a view of the estuary and across to Alameda. Boats and kayaks are your view and the leather seating and attentive staff make you feel well served. Today we had their great crab dip appetizer, I had the clam chowder, and my wife had the lobster bisque, all of which was very good. With a glass of wine each the bill came to $42.95, perfect for our experience.

My husband and I dined 6/13 which was suggested by the hotel we stayed at for the night. It is beautifully located at the harbor. Great views of San Francisco and the Golden Gate bridge. We arrived about 3:30 after a very long drive from Sequoia National Park. We sat at the bar until the dining area was ready. I cannot remember his name but the Bartender was very friendly and service was great! I had the Blueberry Crush drink which had crushed blueberries and a few different types of alcohol. It was delicious! He recommend his own concoction, the Lavender Martini. He crushes fresh lavender and herbs with sugar for the rim of the glass. This was by far the best drink I ever had!

Dinner was amazing! I ordered the seafood etoufee and my husband had the prime rib. The server was wonderful and we did not leave hungry. We wish we would have known about this hidden treasure in Oakland as we would have cut our Sequoia trip by one day. The harbor was quaint and a lot to do.

I highly recommend this restaurant. We plan on coming back when we travel again!

On the water with beautiful atmosphere and tasty drinks, excellent food served by pleasant professional staff. Great wine list. We went here more times than any other place during our stay in Oakland.
