“FANTASTIC and a little disappointing”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 5, 2013

Our first experience there was on a Friday afternoon. We were seated in the lounge area and were lucky enough to get a window seat. The ladies working that afternoon were fun, outgoing and extremely good at their job. We had the clam chowder which in itself is def the best anywhere! But then we had the asiago crusted scallops YUM, and the coconut shrimp - too spicy for our tastes. We enjoyed it so much we made it the place for our last meal there. We were escorted to the dining area where a stuffy waiter seemed disappointed in everything we did and ordered. We ordered the triple plate for $55 of lobster, salmon and filet mignon. Disappointed to say the least, lobster was the size of a credit card cut in half and had no flavour at all, meat was dry. They brought 3 shrimp to replace expensive lobster. Very poor show second time around. Still can't deny them the clam chowder though is still a 5 star YUM.

“Lived up to Reputation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

We were looking for a good seafood resturant that offered a good steak meal as well. I asked a native who was familiar with every resturant in the Oakland Downtown area and she recommended Kincaid's in Jack London's Square. Kincaid's food was teriffic and atmosphere was cool. The crab/artichoke appetizer was to die for. We sat down shortly after 5pm. We left around 7:30pm and the crowd that started to muster was young and vibrant--what a nice scene in such an urban place. The waterfront at night was cool.

“An enjoyable Sunday Brunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

I have eaten here before but only in the evenings. The place was rather quiet on this Sunday lunchtime and was therefore lacking the atmosphere that I enjoyed previously. The rather tired decor was also evident but the view and location made up for this. The Eggs Benedict and Burger were enjoyable especially when washed down with a well-priced bottle of wine. Service was very good. This place certainly stays on my list of places to dine in the Bay Area.

Great food, great service and a water view! Fresh fish, greatly prepared.
A wonderful place to meet with family and friends for just a relaxing meal or special event.
