Went to the pub for a burger. Ordered medium rare and it came almost burned to a crisp; a more well-done burger I have not seen in quite a while. When the waitperson saw that we were having difficulty eating these burgers, she immediately took them away. A moment later the manager approached, bearing a plate of guilty fries (fries with pulled pork and a bit of sauce) to munch on while we waited. The new burgers were done perfectly and had piles of fresh fries as well. So, altogether, we had four burgers and five orders of french fries (he might have thought of something else as a complimentary snack while we were waiting). Everyone apologized profusely, remarking that they are still in their learning curve with some of the line cooks.
Very noisy with t.v. blaring and many twenty-somethings there on a Saturday night. As they get their act together, this will probably be a good place for downtown lunches and easy dinners, including late night. For now, they are just average. Odd bar menu, couldn't find a non-flavored vodka at all. Lots of artisan and regular beers.
