We've been coming here for years. It used to be called Isobune. They changed the name but the staff and the food are the same. It's one of the few Japanese restaurants in the area that are open for lunch on the weekends. They have a sushi boat bar and tables as well and can accommodate a party of up to 16 with advanced notice. The meal starts with a warm, moist towel. We usually get the bento boxes, but we have sampled various sushi as well and it's all good. This place is in the Rockridge end of College Avenue. Dreyer's has an ice cream shop half a block up on College in the base of their corporate office building and that's a nice way to top off your meal.
