Concerts & movies at this beautifully restored 1931 movie palace are a true experience!
You've been transported the moment entering the awe inspiring Lobby with sweeping staircases and gilt & colorful Art Deco designs wrapping the walls & ceiling. Upper levels are equally incredible in design with "full" bars available thru out the venue for beverages & snacks. Once you've found your seat & "rubbernecked" all the Deco features of the huge concert hall, get out your binoculars (for those close up & personal views) and prepare to dance in your seats. 2 great restaurants are located just down the street for pre-theatre dining:" Flora" serving American gourmet comfort food on the corner in a former flower shop (not open on Sundays) & "Pican" just 2 blocks down for marvelous southern cooking.
