As a stop over to Yosemite, this hotel was perfect. Room was clean, people were nice, good value, check in was quick, and they offer AAA discount. The town was great too, as it had everything you needed.

The lobby is very nice. The staff is stiff and mechanical, they are there to check you in and that is all. We could hear doors slamming at all hours. We felt that the hotel takes several unnecessary short cuts to save a few dollars. There are no trash bags in any of the trash cans, you have to request an Internet cable and instead of individual toiletries there is a dispenser in the shower. The towels are incredibly thin and scratchy. The bathroom was incredibly outdated and had dark lighting. The shower was very small and the curtain was dingy. The pool and hot tub area is outside and is very nice and private. The laundry area is open until 10 each night. The main area had a very nice picture of Yosemite behind the headboard that was actually hand painted on the wall. The bed was very old and not comfortable and like the towels, the sheets were incredibly thin and old. The hotel is in a good location, near Starbucks, Jamba Juice and Subway, which all open very early. We tried the newest Mexican place down the street towards the park and we were very pleased at the price and quality of food. All in all we were expecting a better hotel for the price, not one where shortcuts are taken to cheat the customer out of a few cents.

The Best Western Yosemite was a big disappointment.

Our room smelled bad and the ventilation was very noisy.

The bath towels were small, old and almost threadbare. Very bad.

The worst thing was the bugs in the room. Crickets, spiders, dead flies on the tables. I was afraid to get up because each visit to the bathroom found a new live creepy crawly on the floor. Ugh!

Nice quiet hotel/motel. Well located for entry to Yosemite NP. Was nice to get a thank you note from our housekeeping lady after giving her the same tip we'd been giving all our housekeeing people. Free internet access is always appreciated.

Stopped here after a day in Yosemite National Park. Good facilities including a self use laundry, indoor and out door pool and ample parking. Well equipped rooms would allow you to self cater but there are various restaurants close by.

This hotel is probably the best accomodation in Oakhurst but we found the staff to be very grumpy and unhelpful and the room quite dark. The setting of the hotel is nice though and you are only 15 minutes from the closest Yosemite entrance.
