I honestly did not have high expectations for this place from reading previous reviews. The rooms were pretty good size for the 5 of us staying in 1 room but they were very dated and the beds were not that comfortable. The bathroom was very small. I honestly don't think it was worth $400 a night but you are paying that because it is summer and it is near the Yosemite entrance. It is about a 20 minute drive to the gate without traffic. Not bad. The breakfast is mediocre at best. One waffle maker and just some cereal and not very much fruit. The staff was accommodating with maps and info to where to go around Yosemite and also recommended Nelder Grove outside the park. It has a small flowing water fall that we took some cool pictures of and the best of all there were no crowds. The night front desk person was also accommodating with extra towels because we needed them for the 5 of us. However they were very thin. I am honestly not sure if I would stay there again. It needs a lot of work and also one more thing my husband used the public restroom in the lobby and it had no lock and he walked in on somebody. Please fix that.

The room was basic, the mattress was stiff but supportive, but I like a stiffer mattress.

The sheets had a couple of dark stains on them that I just assumed were from before there were washed.

Bathroom shower had good pressure.

The breakfast was not good at all. Just a waffle maker, some cereal, toast, and apples. An attendant that stood there with a tip jar but didn't seem to do a thing.

Not bad value for money, friendly staff who helped out with what to do in the area, provided a few maps. breakfast was on the basic side, had a waffle machine to make your own but the batter was awful so they weren't great, even covered in syrup. Parking was free and not a problem. good location, not too far from yosemite. Obviously paying more would get you closer to the entrance which i probably would have if staying for longer as it was over an hour drive (pretty standard) to get to the main entrance for the park. overall if i came here again i would take this hotel into consideration for staying at.

Worst hotel I have stayed in.. and no value. Due to the holiday I paid over 250.00 per night for a shabby, dirty hotel. I was traveling with my kids and did not feel safe.
Jacuzzi was brown, walls thing, sheets and mattress are gross, plumbing does not work well. Found a cigarette next to my coffee maker in a non smoking room. No hair dryer. Breakfast is terrible and not worth the trip down the hall. Lobby and halls smell like a men's bathroom.
Do your self a favor and don't be ripped off like I was... stay somewhere else.

The hotel gas seen better days and needs a complete overhaul. The furnishings were outdated, the carpets need cleaning, the grounds were not maintained, the Continental Breakfast consisted of various cereals, toast and a few fruit selections, the pool and hot tub had way too many dead bugs in them (the hot tub barely worked anyway), one of the back entrance doors was blocked open 24/7, and the price was much terribly high for the benefits we received. However, the the few employees we encountered were great; overworked and understaffed.
