It costs me over $180 per night, but just offers me the cheap motel level quality, there are many broken place / things in the room, there is no lotion and conditioner in the dispenser, no bath tub, only shower and the shower head is fixed. The breakfast time is only 7-9am, how come it can serve breakfast so late?? as many people need to get up early to drive to the Yosemite, it takes over an hour to drive to the park from the lodge, how come it can serve people breakfast so late?? the breakfast should be available at 6 am instead of 7 am. The choice in the breakfast is quite limited, only the very basic one. It is totally not worth for the money, for this kind of quality, it is only worth for less than $80 per night.

The photos are deceiving. Rooms are dark and grotty. Main door didnt shut properly and didnt feel secure at all, fridge sounds like an old tractor, shower doesnt look like it's ever been cleaned. Have to wash hands in the kitchen sink as there is no hand basin in the bathroom. The pool looks like a green mosquito breeding ground and there was a brown stain already in my bed. Charming. The staff are nice and friendly though.

Unless you are ready to pay very high prices for a hotel within the park, Oakhurst is about as close and affordable as you can get and this place is a good choice. Getting to the park entrance is about 45 minutes, but then be ready to add at least another 90 minutes to reach the visitor center and shuttle stop. The rooms are clean, the shower works and there is a continental breakfast to get you started. There are a half dozen good eating spots within walking distance of the hotel.
