After being let down by another hotel, Oakhurst Lodge stepped up. The staff were amazing. Really friendly and helpful. The rooms are fine - not knock your socks off but they did a job. Clean, comfortable, AC - what more do you want!!? Breakfast similar - you will get hotels with a bigger selection but this was absolutely fine (including a waffle maker!) and did the job to set you up for exploring the stunning local area. Thank you for a great stay.
We were in a bind as the accommodation we had booked was, to be blunt, horrible (reviewed). These lovely people were most welcoming and found a beautiful room for some weary travellers. Breakfast was included. Not located far from Yosemite. We couldn't be more grateful to our hosts. Thanks again ☺
Stayed only one night on our way to Yosemite park. It was a pleasant stay. Rooms were clean and neat. Renovated bathroom was nice too. Enough of car space for all rooms. Breakfast was fairly decent, although indoor seating was not enough for all. Easy check in and check out . All in all, good overnight option around Yosemite valley.
The staff is pleasant and intelligent. Beds were very hard. Room was clean and attractive. The breakfast was decent but protein-free. There is a nice grassy area behind the units. Upper units are quietest.
Had booked for 2 nights. The double decker motel is old in style and quite tired. No hooks or shelves in the bathroom. The fridge was smelly and wasn't cold. The owners were very understanding, though, when we cancelled the second night due to the rustic nature if the place. The area is touristy which is why the pricing is higher than expected for the quality of the room.
