“Great food and casual atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 29, 2014

This place was recommended by locals and was a real find! I had the Wilde Turkey and my Sister had the Sierra, homemade chips and Sweet potatoe fries on the side! I had the house root beer and it was great! They serve Organic and free range meats! Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere! Local music on the weekend is a plus! Love this place! Cant wait to go back and try the Pizza!

“Great Menu & Great Beer!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2014

I love going to microbrew places, and this one was great! The Porter & Blonde Ale were both tasty! My husband got the mac&cheese special which he enjoyed very much. I got the shepherd's pie Wellington & loved it! For dessert, we split a root beer (made at the brewery) float, which was also really good. All of the servers were very friendly. They also have great shirts, growlers, etc. for souvenirs! I highly recommend this place.

“Good food and good beer, but way too pricey for this small community”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2014

The owners relocated from Southern Cal, and apparently brought with them the high prices one expects to pay in that locale. Because they brew some of their own beer on premises, we figured their prices would be more competitive, but they are not--not much different than nearby Fresno establishments. Additionally, we paid over $13 for a "buffalo burger" which, while tasty, we thought was over-priced. The building is a converted car dealership, so the former showroom is now the main part of the restaurant which, because It is rather small, the noise can become a bit annoying. Last, upon entering the restaurant, your are immediately directed to the bar where you must place your order and pay, or leave an open tab. You are then given a number to place on your table, after which a server brings your order. This causes some confusion when it comes to who gets the tip. Specifically: Do you pay the bartender when you order, or the server? All of that said, this restaurant has potential. With a few adjustments, it could become a 5 star winner. Clearly, this small town needs an establishment such as this one to remain successful.

“AWESOME!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2013

Finally had a chance to try out the new Brewery/Restaurant and boy, did they do it right! The menu is really amazing, and I was impressed by the vegetarian AND vegan options! Location is great, in town but good views out the front and side windows. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good. I ordered the black bean burger with added avocado - delicious. I opted to replace the veganaisse with a chipotle aoili (house made) and got the veganaisse on the side. For the side I had the fresh, house made mushroom rosemary soup which was delicious. S.O. got the fish and chips, very fresh, perfectly done. We each tried a different house brew on tap, both were really good. The place was packed but we got a table right away and the service is great - you order at the bar and carry back your drinks, then the wait staff delivers the food. Not too long of a wait even with a crowd and we occupied ourselves reading through the menu for all the things we want to try next time :-) Everyone around us looked happy and the food they were delivered looked wonderful. The couple next to us tried that days house special mac and cheese, a huge serving of mac and cheese with artichoke hearts, sundried tomatoes, and something else I can't remember. Every day they make a different version. They also have house made desserts, the special for the day was sold out by the time we got there at 11:30 so I'm guessing the desserts are wonderful. They sell growlers in 32 and 64 ozs and it looked like a lot of people were taking advantage of the refill service. Oh - they also make their own root beer, we were going to try the float made with reimers ice cream but we were too stuffed. Next time we'll do appetizers and dessert! All ages were there from the 21's to over 70's and it looked like all ages were comfortable and having a great time. The wait and counter staff were all very friendly and helpful with questions. We'll be back!!
