Went to Ricky's on Saturday June 14 for dinner and to see the Tracy Rose Trio. Booked our table through Open Table app and received a call from the restaurant asking if we preferred inside or outside. That was impressive. Usually we prefer to sit outside whenever possible, however, we were going there specifically to hear the music and chose to sit inside. It's a busy place, so it is a bit noisy. But not so much that it interferes with conversation at the table. The atmosphere of the dinning room is very pleasant. It has a warm and welcoming feeling. We were greeted at our table by the manager/owner? (Rickey himself, perhaps...) and had a nice brief conversation. Our server was attentive, as was the bus staff. The cocktails were well made - not watered down and not too stiff. The warm cornbread was delicious. The place was busy but our food came out in a timely manner, just as ordered and our steaks (tender and flavorful) done as requested. We'll go back even on non music nights.
