“Volunteers are Great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 5, 2014

Volunteer was wonderful and knowledgeable. My kids and I had a wonderful experience and plan to go back as they change out their exhibit several times a year. Plus it's free. But please leave a donation!

“Amazed by knowledge of volunteers.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 25, 2014

Even the three year old in our party was captivated by the space suits and memorabilia. Not surprisingly, his favorite was the cosmonaut "diaper". One nice feature of this little jam-packed museum is that almost everything is "hands on". You can try on a space suit sleeve or a helmet, and pick up various kinds of meteorites.
Volunteers staff the museum and are very knowledgeable and eager to show you everything they have on display.
Be sure to check on whether they will be open when you are there, as the hours are limited. If you find them closed, you can walk next door to Marin Coffee Roasters to savor great coffee and unique pastries.

“Give it an A- Great Place!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 23, 2014

This is a cool place to visit. Good history, authentic memorabilia and history. Only problem I had was there was NOTHING about our own Novato female astronaut, Yvonne Darlene Cagle, M.D., NASA Astronaut. WHAT is up with that?? I hope the owners of the museum see this and add her pics and history to their personal exhibition!!!

“A Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

Truly a little gem in little Novato! An awe inspiring visit for everyone, with hands-on exhibits for children. Adults who remember the Cold War will be surprised at the amount of space memorabilia from the USSR, and more recently, Russia's adventures to the Space Station.
Sometimes, an American astronaut will make a guest appearance at the Space Station Museum, which is a rare and special treat.

Overall, a wonderful educational experience for everyone of all ages, especially those interested in things NASA.
